Q: How do I book a charter?
To book your charter, simply choose the experience you’re interested in and complete our booking form with your preferred dates and group size. Once we receive your request, our team will reach out to confirm the details and send you an invoice via email for payment.
Q: Do I need to be a strong swimmer to go snorkeling?
Not at all! Your safety is our top priority. We carefully select calm, shallow areas where you can comfortably enjoy the beauty of ocean life. Plus, we provide lifejackets and snorkel vests to help you stay afloat and conserve energy during your snorkeling experience. However, please remember that all activities are undertaken at your own risk.
Q: What is the best time to snorkel?
It all comes down to personal preference! If you’re a morning person, the early hours offer calm waters and soft lighting. But truthfully, there’s no bad time—our island’s crystal-clear waters are stunning all day long, just like the photos.
Q: What should we bring with us?
We recommend bringing coral-safe sunscreen (non-aerosol), towels, any preferred snacks or drinks, your favorite music if you’d like to curate the playlist, and of course—a camera to capture the memories! For your convenience, we also have USB chargers on board to keep your devices powered throughout the trip.
Q: What happens if it rains?
Turks and Caicos has tropical weather, which means conditions can change quickly. It might be raining at your hotel while the rest of the island enjoys clear skies. Rain showers are often brief and followed by sunshine. Our experienced captains assess weather conditions on the day of your charter and make decisions accordingly.
Unless you hear from a Serenity Charters representative, your trip will proceed as planned. In the rare case that we need to cancel due to unsafe weather or sea conditions, we’ll contact you to reschedule or discuss other options.
When is lobster season, and can I request it on my charter?
Lobster season runs from August 1 to March 31. If lobster is available on the island during your charter, we’ll do our best to include it as an upgrade to your BBQ lunch. Additional charges apply — please ask us for current pricing when booking.
Q: Can I bring my own alcohol on board?
We provide a selection of beverages including Rum Punch, local and imported beer, white wine, and French champagne for toasts. You’re welcome to bring your own alcohol, but please speak with our team in advance so we can guide you appropriately before your charter.
Q: Is there a restroom on the yacht?
Yes, our yacht is equipped with two restrooms and a full shower for your comfort and convenience.
Q: I have a baby — can they come on board?
Yes, infants are welcome aboard! Our yacht features a full kitchen and comfortable bedrooms, perfect for feeding or napping. For safety, we kindly ask that children under 7 are not left unattended inside the yacht. We also provide lifejackets for all ages, from 12 months to adults.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards and securely process payments through PayPal. For your convenience and data privacy, we prefer online payments. In case of cancellations or weather-related refunds, please allow 1–3 business days for processing, as we are a small, service-focused business.
Q: Does your boat have music?
Yes, our vessels are equipped with high-quality JBL sound systems that support Bluetooth connectivity, XM radio, and local radio—so you can enjoy your favorite music throughout the trip.
